Recipe Story:
Christmas has always been a very special Holiday in the Gervais/Marchetti Household. My parents were very religious and Midnight mass was always a priority. I remember looking forward to Christmas Eve, when many of the relatives on my Mother's side (she had 13 brothers and sisters) would gather at my Grandmother's house for a very festive evening. At 11PM we would dress warmly and proceed to our beautiful church for Midnight mass. Then we would return home for the special "Reveillon" where we would eat all kinds of delicious French Canadian homemade specialties. My mother's "Toutiere" was always the crowd favorite! Hope you enjoy it as much as I still do today!
